The Gorgo Agricultural Company has a long history - fifty years - in the Verona area and currently covers an area of 53 hectares on the morainic hills around the town of Custoza, producing the typical excellent wines of this region, using its own certified organic grapes.
The winery is personally managed by the owner, assisted by the continuous professional advice of its oenologists, with the aim of producing authentic wines firmly in balance between the evolution of taste with the passage of time and the richness of our great tradition.
The same spirit and the same style guided the architectural extension and restoration works in 2005 and 2015, both of the wine cellar and of the buildings used for guest accommodation: they perfectly represent the search for quality and the strong characterization of the 'Agency. 118 stone blocks, a building assembled in 10 days. The foundations, cornices and trusses, in line with local tradition, are in Nembro Veronese marble, the walls in blocks taken from the nearby stone quarries of Vicenza. A project shared with a demanding client with a single goal: to combine tradition with innovation, to dare without provoking, as happens with the wines produced by the company on the hills of Custoza.
